Terms and Conditions

  • By confirming an appointment with Premier Electrics you agree to either pay the inspection fee of £69.99 or the repair fee based on the fixed-price quotation provided by our engineers. Advance payment is not required to secure the appointment. Payment must be made to the engineer at the time of the appointment using cash, debit or credit card (excluding AMEX/Diners Club). We are not able to accept payment by cheque.
  • The repair fee covers the cost of the engineer’s inspection, diagnosis, labour & replacement parts (if required), testing, safety checks and VAT. The repair work will focus on what has been entered in the "Fault description" box in the original booking form.
  • Once an appointment has been arranged the customer will receive confirmation by email of the time and date of the engineers visit. You will also be designated a unique customer number for future reference.
  • Customers are entitled to cancel or rearrange their appointment without incurring a charge but must give Premier Electrics at least 12 hours notice. If the customer fails to give at least 12 hours notice then a ‘failed visit’ fee of £15.00 is chargeable. Customers who wish to cancel or rearrange an appointment must do so by speaking to an advisor on 0800 2289021. Appointments can not be cancelled or rescheduled by email, fax or letter.
  • If the customer misses a confirmed appointment with an engineer (absent from home/does not answer the door) Premier Electrics will charge a ‘failed visit’ fee of £15.00. This fee is however refunded if/when the appointment is rearranged and the engineer’s inspection subsequently takes place.
  • Premier Electrics repair most kitchen appliances, but the manufacturer, appliance type, model and age will have a significant bearing on how quickly replacement parts can be obtained and installed. It should also be noted that once a specific appliance becomes obsolete the manufacturer tends only to retain replacement parts for a limited period.
  • If the appliance is deemed unworthy of repair (following an engineer’s inspection and fault diagnosis) Premier Electrics will only charge the customer the inspection fee of £69.99.
  • Premier Electrics provides a 1 year parts and labour guarantee on all repairs as standard. In the unlikely event that a replacement part fails within the guarantee period, we will supply and fit a further replacement part for no additional cost. The repair guarantee does not however cover breakdowns caused through customer misuse or error, for example blockages or obstructions in a pump. The guarantee is invalidated if the appliance is moved to a new address. The guarantee only applies to the repair work undertaken and does not apply to any unrelated, subsequent fault with the appliance.
  • We are unable to repair commercial/industrial appliances and any gas-fueled domestic appliance.
  • Premier Electrics will not provide recompense for loss or spoiling of food substances due to faulty refrigeration.

  • Premier Electrics is determined to ensure that all the information contained within our site is accurate and correct however we can not accept any responsibility for loss or damages which could occur as a consequence of acting upon information contained within our site.
  • Premier Electric’s terms and conditions are occasionally subject to change. Premier Electrics are entitled to make these changes at any time and without notice.
  • All customer data (personal) such as address and contact details will be held by Premier Electrics. We may from time to time share this data with our suppliers and appropriate regulators (such as Trading Standards).
